After a two-year hiatus, AP returned to the show floor at the National Association of Broadcasters’ NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 23-27.
At AP NAB 2022, AP presented significant advancements in newsroom technology, showcasing ENPS 9.3 updates and Playbook demonstrations. This included demonstrations of cloud-based newsroom tools, new security features, and enhanced multi-platform content production capabilities.
Brian Doyle from AP discussed the exciting cloud journey AP is on, helping customers migrate to the cloud with robust security improvements. These include SSO (Single Sign-On) and SSL support across the entire architecture of ENPS and Playbook. AP also introduced the AP Data Extractor, a powerful tool for reporting on data within Playbook or ENPS, assisting with FAC reporting and DEI statistics collection.
At AP’s exhibit space, delegates were offered hands-on demos of AP ENPS and Playbook and the opportunity to learn more about AP’s multiformat content and innovative media solutions.

Andy Wormser emphasized the excitement of reconnecting with customers at NAB 2022, discussing the recurring themes of security, remote work, and the need for streamlined workflows. Rachel highlighted the upcoming ENPS 9.3 version, introducing new user-friendly features. One notable update is the vertical navigation bar option, allowing users to collapse it for an expanded view of their rundown.
