The Associated Press on Monday won a Technology and Engineering Emmy® Award in the Newsroom Computer System category for its industry leading ENPS newsroom production system.
AP ENPS, the world’s leading news production system, is used by more than 60,000 journalists in more than 700 newsrooms in more than 50 countries.
“Our team has a passion for helping customers harness technology to smoothly create news programming for their audiences,” said Brian Hopman, vice president and general manager for ENPS. “As the news business is transformed by digital advancements, we are reinventing newsroom technologies to support our customers’ growth.”
Winners will be honored during a virtual ceremony on Oct. 10.
AP won a Technology and Engineering Emmy® Award in 2016 for its contributions to the Media Object Server Group, of which ENPS was a founding member.
